Bio

Born in New York City, Michael A.J. Randolph comes to EKU as a Lecturer in the Department of Communications after a long career in broadcasting and education.  Along with teaching positions at The Ohio State University, Ashland University, Edward Waters College and Delaware State University, Mr. Randolph was selected as Kiplinger Journalism Fellow at Ohio State where he received his Master's degree.   Randolph has spent more than a quarter century in journalism, broadcasting, as a  news director, anchor, reporter and station manager.  He has received awards from Ohio Educational Broadcasting, the National Association of Black Journalists, the Associated Press and the Society of Professional Journalists.  He has also been recognized for outstanding reporting in the areas of public affairs and the arts.   Prior to his career in broadcasting MAJR was a paramedic with NYC-EMS.
