Leslie LeRoy began teaching at EKU in Fall 2016 as a part-time faculty member. She holds a BA in Applied Communication and MA in Communication from Morehead State University. Leslie also holds a MS in Higher Education and a Graduate Certificate in College Teaching and Learning from the University of Kentucky.
Leslie has worked in higher education for more than ten years serving as an adjunct faculty member in communication for Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Midway College, and the University of Kentucky. She also has formerly worked in admissions, retention, and recruitment at the University of Kentucky. Leslie provided hundreds of admissions and recruitment presentations and developed and delivered numerous academic success seminars as a student affairs officer.
Leslie primarily instructs Public Speaking and Introduction to Human Communication, but has also taught courses in Interpersonal Communication, Introduction to Communication, Business Communication, and First Year Experience.
In her spare time, Leslie enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Andrew, and son, Ian.
