Bio
Krista Kimmel began teaching at EKU in the fall of 2005 as a part-time faculty member, before joining the full-time Communication Studies faculty in 2009 as a Lecturer. She holds a BA in public relations and English from Murray State University and an MA in communication from the University of Kentucky. Prior to her appointment as a Lecturer, Krista worked in development for a local nonprofit organization.
Krista primarily instructs Public Speaking and Introduction to Human Communication, but has also taught courses in Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, and Advocacy and Opposition. In her spare time, Krista enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
