Bureau Chief/Multimedia Reporter (Middlesboro)

WYMT, nestled in the scenic Appalachian Mountains, is looking for a highly motivated, energetic storyteller who loves news. This one-person-band will work out of our Middlesboro office, located near the historic Cumberland Gap National Park and Lincoln Memorial University.

We are looking for a dynamic on air and multimedia storyteller who loves breaking news. At WYMT, we cover people, not stories. Successful applicants must possess a terrific grasp of current events, strong organizational skills and the ability to shoot and edit your own video.

You must also understand and embrace the importance of the new multi-platform newsroom. Everyone on our team produces content on air, online and mobile. Social media is an integral part of our interaction with viewers.

We work hard, but have fun. Great station! Great company!

WYMT has a proven record of turning out solid journalists capable of moving up in the ranks. ESPN's Jay Crawford started his career with WYMT. Several anchors and producers have moved on to Top 40 Markets in the last couple of years.

If you are passionate, enthusiastic, and energetic, then rush your tape, resume and cover letter to:
