The University Diversity Office is seeking a paid student intern to assist with conducting on-going services in preparing, editing and rewriting copy to improve accuracy or readability of public relations campaign materials, publications and other writing contents. The student intern will assist with reviewing reports, grants and research findings for accuracy. May possibly assist in the writing and editing of assessment documents, public relations articles, social media content, and research studies.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:

  • Excellent written communication and editing skills
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Experience working experience in a research  library
  • Experience working with writing style guidelines 
  • Ability to work with digital computer applications and electronic information software
  • Knowledge of  and experience working with social networking media
  • Ability to accurately and competently accomplish job responsibilities professionally and complete work assignments on time
  • Ability to work in a diverse setting
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
