Lindsay Volpenhein receives CLASS Dean’s Award for Merit

CMS major Lindsay Volpenhein has been awarded the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences Dean’s Award for Merit.

Lindsay is dual major in Communication Studies and English. A 4.00 GPA student and active member of the EKU Honors Program. She has served as president of Chi Omega Sorority, where she focused on diversity, equity, and student engagement.

Lindsay was awarded Most Outstanding Panhellenic President from EKU’s Greek Office in 2021 and represented Chi Omega in EKU’s 2021 Homecoming Court. She has also served as Press Secretary in Student Government Association and worked for as a Resident Advisor for three years.

During her summers, Lindsay has worked for the Governor’s Scholars Program of Kentucky and the hunger relief nonprofit, Star of the Sea Foundation.
