Congratulations to Dr. Deborah Givens, who successfully defended her dissertation on February 27 at the University of Kentucky. According to her committee chair, Dr. Beth Barnes, "she passed with flying colors. Absolutely outstanding work, with just a few tweaks needed before she submits the final version to the grad school."

Journalism major Lindsay Huffman named 2012 CB&T Distinguished Senior

Congratulations to Lindsay Huffman, the department’s Distinguished Senior, who has been named the 2012 College of Business and Technology Distinguished Senior. Lindsay graduated with a journalism degree in December and plans to attend law school next fall. She will be back on campus to be recognized at the College to Careers Conference on Friday, March 30.

Recent PR Grad Rebecca Pickens to Present at National Conference

Recent EKU graduate and Public Relations major Rebecca Pickens has been selected to present her original research paper titled "Michael Vick's Dogfighting Case: Ramifications on Media Coverage of Pit Bulls & Dogfighting" at the 2012 National Conference on Undergraduate Research at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.
